Syria, Coele-Syria. Heliopolis. Philip I. A.D. 244-249. Æ (31 mm, 14.82 g, 1 h). IMP CAES M IVL PHILIPPVS PIVS FEL AVG, laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Philip I right / COL IVL AVG [FEL] HEL, Tyche standing facing, holding rudder and cornucopiae, between two Nikai on low columns holding billowing veil; to either side of Tyche, small figures (Kabeiros?) standing facing, each holding spear. Sawaya 457 (D89/R183); SNG Copenhagen 434. Brown patina with light earthen deposits. Very fine.
